Our answer book holds 46 answers to “A place in the Emmental”, from the first thing anyone would say to names almost nobody would think of. Burgdorf, Langnau im Emmental and Sumiswald are what most people type first, so they score the least. It is a fairly short list: only 12 answers sit in the two rarest tiers, so reaching one takes real knowledge.
A local name often beats the postcard version here, since the postcard version is what everybody else types too. You will find it in stage 40, “Bernese Highlights”, of the Swiss Made mission. The first stages of every mission are free, and later stages come with the full mission.
